Your Google key is already saved on the comma. This HTTPS browser needs a separate, one-time connection using your existing Phone Navigation code. The local IP address and HTTPS address do not share browser storage.

Ask about vehicle readings, set a comma navigation destination, check a route, explicitly turn navigation influence on/off, or change display/voice preferences. Destination commands require this browser to be paired. Accessory CAN commands are not enabled. This button works without Gemini. It takes one fresh snapshot; there is no background polling.

Assistant connection

The Gemini key is stored privately on the comma. All devices on your trusted local network can chat without entering it. AI processing runs at Google. Paired browsers can change display units and their voice preferences. Driving controls and accessory CAN transmission are unavailable.

Uses gemini-3.5-flash-lite. Free-tier quotas apply; NAP also limits requests to 20 per minute and 300 per server day, resetting when the server restarts. Google may use free-tier conversations to improve products. Use only on your trusted hotspot.

Live conversation

Microphone off. Tap Start to talk naturally with Gemini.

While active, microphone audio goes directly to Google. You can interrupt and ask follow-up questions. End closes the microphone. Sessions stop after five minutes, on a connection error, or when you leave this page. Live audio has its own Gemini quota. This is tap-to-start, not an always-listening wake word.

Open the secure assistant for microphone access. On HTTPS, connect your browser once above using the existing Phone Navigation setup code. Your Google API key remains private.

Speak replies Natural Gemini voice (optional)

Gemini voice is off by default. Device voice uses no cloud speech quota. Temporary voice errors keep Google voice selected and show a Retry button. Only a quota limit switches it off automatically.

Technical details (optional)

Each source has its own observation time. Refresh requests the latest available readings; sleeping or disconnected feeds may remain unavailable. Distance is an estimate, not collision guidance. Display-unit and browser-voice preferences are available. Vehicle accessory commands are not installed.
